Easy Banoffee Pie

Ingredients:

FOR THE PIE CRUST:
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1 10-oz. (1 1/4 cups) package crushed graham crackers

FOR THE FILLING:
1 stick of unsalted butter
½ cup (4 oz) packed dark brown sugar
1 14-oz. (1 3/4 cups)(414 ml) can condensed milk, such as Carnation brand
4 bananas
1 (2 cups) pint heavy cream
Grated chocolate

Make the crumb crust: Transfer crushed graham crackers in a bowl. Stir in melted butter. Press the mixture into a 9" tart base with a removable bottom. You can also use any square containers, whichever you prefer. Chill the crust in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

Prepare the Toffee: Melt the remaining stick of butter in a saucepan under low heat. Stir in the brown sugar. Add the condensed milk and bring the mixture to a boil for a few minutes, stirring continuously. The toffee should darken slightly.

Pour the prepared toffee into the crust. Cool and chill again for at least one hour until the caramel is firm.

Arrange sliced bananas on top of the chilled toffee. Spoon whipped cream on top. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings if desired. Happy eating! :)
